We are dedicated to providing support and professional development opportunities to our Game Changer Welfare Officers, which will enhance the likelihood of club members to be best supported.

We bring awareness campaigns and education sessions to our sporting clubs through our online platform and respected service providers.

Game Changer is a not for profit charity that is dedicated to suicide prevention in our sporting club communities. Game Changer's services and offerings directly impact our clubs and leagues to make a positive change to the mental well being of our members.

BE SOMEBODY'S GAME CHANGER THIS WEEKEND!

Have you noticed a change in one of your mates? .
Are you concerned they are heading down the wrong path?
.
Do you feel like you need to have a chat with them?
.
IF SO, KEEP IN MIND:
1) The environment you approach them in.
Ensure you have minimal distractions around when you open a conversation. .
2) The way you frame your concerns.
Use non-judgemental language when speaking about your observations. .
3) It's OK to show vulnerability.
This can be by saying how much you care about them, or sharing something of your own that you're not proud of. .
4) To be present and listen.
It is so important to be fully present and listen to understand their perspective, don't listen to overshare your observations. Don't rush off if they start to open up.

5) To pick up on their cues.
Be flexible with what you discuss depending on their body language and emotions in the moment.
.
6) To be prepared with professional contacts and leave your door open.
You don't need to have the answers, nor should you try to fix the problem your mate is facing. Arm yourself with professional contacts to suggest.

Our young Game Changer's yesterday at the Mornington Peninsula Sportsmen's Cup For Bushfire Relief event in Mt Eliza were simply incredible!💲🔥

They ran water to over 100 players for over 7 hours and across 7 matches of T10 Cricket! 🏏

Thanks Hunter, Tim, Brock, Troy, Archie and Jarrah, the players were very appreciative!
